After dishing out four seasons of ribtickling stand up comedy, Comedy Circus is back with a new season titled as Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur. The resident judge Archana Puran Singh will be joined by actor producer Sohail Khan. The youngest Khan is making his first ever appearance on the small screen as a judge. The show will be hosted by actress Resshmi Ghosh. Naya Daur will feature naye jodis presenting an assortment of acts that will tickle your funny bone. Kapil Sharma will team up with actress Ankita Lokhande, Krushna Abhishek will be seen with Sudesh Lahiri, Rajeev Thakur with Sugandha Mishra, Bharti Singh along with Siddhartha Jadhav, Mahhi Vij with Suri, RJ Mantra with Vishakha and Ather Habib will team up with Priya Raina. The winner of the show this season will get the golden chance of acting in an upcoming Sohail Khan Production. The first episode will be graced by superstar Govinda, the man with perfect comic timing. He will have everybody grooving with his dance moves as he performs on a medley of numbers from his films. Resshmi too will perform to Lele mazaa from Salman Khan starrer Wanted and Bamulaiza from Phir Hera Pheri. Mahhi too will perform on Dum Maaro Dum. And the surprise component of the episode is an amusing performance put up by judge Sohail Khan who will perform on a medley of hit songs from Hello Brother and the song Karle baby dance-wance.
